Landscape Designer

The studio has been around for 30 years with offices in LA and FL. Their work ranges from Civic and cultural to affordable housing, Mixed-use projects, and more.
POSITION SUMMARY
The studio is in a growth momentum and expanding its design capabilities, especially in the Landscape design and Master planning areas. They are currently seeking an exceptional Landscape Designer at their Fort Lauderdale studio. This is an intermediate role, and the individual will work with the principal directly and take design direction from the Sr designer and Principal. This is an in-office working role.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Min 5 years of post-graduate Landscape Architecture experience
- Candidates should be able to work with a creative team, produce and oversee construction documentation details, and manage projects through construction.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Landform, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, and Revit (is a plus)
- Knowledge of horticulture, landscape construction, and estimation
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Experience with large projects, city projects, streetscapes, and urbanscapes would be an added advantage
- Exhibited previous experience in managing people and working directly with clients
- Excellent Technical skills and ability to make detailed technical documents
- Interest in Research & Development
